THE HAF AG PARK AT KUNIA WAS ESTABLISHED IN JULY 2011 THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE HAWAI'I AGRICULTURAL FOUNDATION (HAF), ISLAND PALM COMMUNITIES (IPC) AND BAYER HAWAII (FORMERLY MONSANTO HAWAI'I). FOOD-A-GO-GO: DURING THE PANDEMIC IN 2020, FARMERS AND RESTAURANTS IN HAWAII EXPERIENCED HARDSHIPS DUE TO SIGNIFICANT DECREASES IN SALES. THE FOOD-A-GO-GO PROGRAM'S GOAL WAS TO HELP MITIGATE THIS HARDSHIP BY PROMOTING 2,000+ RESTAURANTS WHO ARE OPEN FOR DINE-IN, TAKEOUT, CURBSIDE PICK-UP AND DELIVERY, FARMERS WHO ARE SELLING PRODUCE (AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS) DIRECTLY TO CONSUMERS, FARMERS' MARKETS WHO RE-OPENED FOR BUSINESS, AND RESTAURANTS WHO ARE ACCEPTING THE HAWAII RESTAURANT CARD.
