In 2022 Volunteers for Outdoor California resumed activity with a reduced schedule and project size restrictions related to ongoing COVID concerns. Trail work: In 2022, Volunteers for Outdoor California worked in 5 parks. Overall, our volunteers built approximately 2 miles of new trail, built 1 sets of steps, and repaired and restored another 2.5 miles of trail on public lands (state, regional & local parks), organizing and directing the efforts of over 300 volunteers in stewardship efforts.
