Application format and required materials
Written request of the amount, how funds will be used and where, timeline of the project and total budget. Mission/Statement of Purpose. Letter of support, Applications from outside the Toledo area require written support from the local manager of the nearest Anderson facility. Applications will not be processed without a recommendation letter. Financials- copy of last audited, reviewed or compiled financial statements. Operating Budget - A copy of the current year operating budget. List of Board Members/Directors. Capital Projects Only - Project Budget - The project budget. Other Donors & Outstanding Requests- list of current corporate or foundation commitments, and any grant requests pending. Individual donors should be summarized as one line. Donor Recognition Levels - A list of donor recognition levels for the project, donors on one line donors should be summarized as one line.

Grants are made for general operations, specific projects and capital campaigns. As a general rule, the Foundation will not serve as the major or sole funder of a project. Grants are not made to individuals; to endowment funds; to church building or operating funds; or to the building or operating funds of elementary schools or public high schools.The Foundation will consider requests from organizations that have received 501(c)(3) taxexempt status from the Internal Revenue Service and which are not classified as private foundations under the Internal Revenue Code 509. State and local government requests are also considered.
