After suspending the race for two years due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the committee of the Fairhaven Road Race Inc., in keeping with its organizational purpose, organized a road race held in Fairhaven, MA on Father's Day June 19,2022. Over 950 runners participated in the 5 Kilometer race. All of the planning for the race and the work on race day was done by volunteers and many people in the community turned out to encourage the runners. After paying the expenses incident to the race and reserving a small amount for the planned 2023 race, the race committee was able to donate a total of $16,200 to various local civic and charitable organizations.
