  • Stretching for Life Dance Education Program

    Stretching for Life is our school year multi-cultural dance education program that serves up to 500 children and youth each year. It is a rigorous, sequential learning program that is offered at low or no cost to the participants. Classes are offered three afternoons per week and on weekends, serving primarily Hartford residents. We have successfully provided this program using both virtual and in-person classes. The program offers several performance opportunities during the school year.

  • Instruments of Culture Summer Program

    Instruments of Culture is our full day, full week summer program serving young people ages 4 to 21. It is linked to literacy development for all age groups. It culminates in an original, full-length performance. Depending on age, our young people participate for six or seven weeks. We have offered this program in both an online and hybrid version, practicing sound health protocols. We presented the summer program as a video of the entire performance that was attended by both the performers and their families.
