    Discovery Flights: The club provided 148 Discovery flights (an educational introduction into aviation andthe sport of soaring)to the public many of which were provided to the Boy Scouts and other civic groups.These flights include aircraft orientation, airfield operations, & other educational briefings.

  • Program 3 [2020]

    The club held its annual glider ground school, a ground school course open to the public; the 13 week courseprovided 39 hours of instruction in general aviation and covered all topics required to prepare for the FAA written exam for candidates seeking PPG or higher ratings. 15 students and several members participated.
