  • Jamestown Community Farm Initiative

    The Jamestown Community farm is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more specifically to promote sustainable agriculture and agricultural practices and provide "hands on" opportunities to become actively involved in local agricultural production and promotion for all who are interested. Toward that end, the Jamestown Community Farm will grow, harvest, and distribute fresh vegetables and other agricultural produce throughout the region in which it operates to these in need who suffer food insecurity. The number of people that benefit from the program at local food pantries and free meal sites is estimated to be six hundred to eight hundred people.
