    ALBUQUERQUE ADULT LEARNING CENTER'S STUDENT-CENTERED PROGRAM MODEL HELPS PARTICIPANTS BECOME LIFELONG LEARNERS BY INSTILLING THE VALUE OF EDUCATION AND THE IMPORTANCE OF LITERACY FOR INDIVIDUALS, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. ALBUQUERQUE ADULT LEARNING CENTER PROVIDES FREE ADULT EDUCATION SERVICES IN SOME OF THE MOST UNDERSERVED AREAS IN THE ALBUQUERQUE METRO AREA, PRIMARILY THE INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT, SOUTH VALLEY AND WESTSIDE COMMUNITIES.

    Albuquerque Adult Learning Centers student-centered program model helps participants become lifelong learners by instilling the value of education and the importance of literacy for individuals, children and families. ABQ-ALC provided free adult education services to 320 participants overall from our High School Equivalency (HSE), English as a Second Language (ESL), Literacy, Family Wellness, and Career Pathway Services. These services were offered online and in person primarily in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance, and Valencia Counties. ABQ-ALC also supported several participants outside of the central region through its Distance Education/Learning Program.
