    RULES OF THE ROPE - Comissioned local playwright to create new work depicting tradition of Double Dutch jumprope in Black communities and families for last three generations. Employing an all Black cast of 5 women and majority Black production team including composer and dramaturg, this play will premiere in August 2025.

  • The Hatchery Festival

    THE HATCHERY - Launched a free new works performance festival which served a total of 148 audience members and employed 11 artists. Included support and production of LA MARIPOSA, a new work from Latinx artist Sofia Marks, as well as a panel discussion on producing Deaf theater, an all-bodies dance class, and a community happy hour with ASL interpretation.

  • Why and How Are Not in the Picture

    WHY AND HOW ARE NOT IN THE PICTURE -Commissioned and developed new play written in American Sign Language created with and employing a total of 13 artists, majority Deaf, with full interpretation support. Served 77 audience members, 20% of those surveyed identify as Deaf, with attendees travelling to Portland from Seattle and Salem.
