    Preventing and Reducing Runaway, Homeless Youth and Victims of Trafficking by Creating Private Alternatives to State-Run Foster Care This project entitled, ???Preventing and Reducing Runaway, Homeless Youth and Victims of Trafficking by Creating Private Alternatives to State-Run Foster Care,??? surveyed 40 community-based organizations with innovative approaches and alternatives to state-run foster care. Using Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), we identified 40 organizations with proven track records. Special emphasis was placed on efforts in communities of color, faith communities and other special communities largely missing in mainstream foster care initiatives. (Continued Sch 0).
