Wings of Knowledge Program
Olinga's primary program is Wings of Knowledge. Wings of Knowledge is a youth development program that utilizes project based learning to provide Central California youth with opportunities to grow, lead and contribute to their communities. The program uses a team-based approach where six middle school youth; a high school intern; a local teacher; Olinga staff; and an industry partner work together to design and implement projects that contribute to local social and economic advancement. Olinga has actively supported Central California youth to assert a bolder future for themselves through the lens of youth and community development. The initiative has had a positive impact on the agricultural community as well, with youth and community partners collaborating on a broad array of projects throughout the region. Since its inception Olinga has engaged more than 600 youth from 13 communities in 57 projects designed to improve their small towns.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$215.6K
