2024 accomplishments by program areas: Assisted 595 families living in extreme poverty. The activities completed by FFHC team members in Tanzania serve the families and communities across 13 project sites in Karatu, Tanzania. Case managers: 3240 home visits, 1273 goals achieved, 154 new applications, 88 approved for services. Livestock 72 training workshops, 6327 preventative goat treatments, 1895 home visits, 113 goats given, 122 goats sold by families for income; Agriculture 72 training workshops, 26 Farmer motivators provided farm implements and 76 provided 1x1 coaching, 1004 agriculture site visits; Health and Environment 738 reusable sanitary pads given to menstruating girls to help them stay in school, 1000+ attended health trainings on cancer, STIs, HIV/AIDS, family planning and basic health screenings, 95 new families/473 new people chose to participate in the health insurance offered by FFHC; Entrepreneurship and Economic Development 100 adult and youth students attended Street Business School Program, 27 new businesses outside of SBS, started 12 new savings groups, $25,203 saved by 242 people in FFHC savings groups; Training on soap manufacturing provided to 129 and batik making to 9 people; 37 leadership training to 182 leaders. 74 trainings on Entrepreneurship, Health and Environment, 16 Points of a Healthy Home, Savings. Faith Development 1794 pastoral care visits, 877 watched evangelism films, 9254 attended Christian seminars, 33 Bibles and devotion books distributed, 708 marriage counseling sessions, 1154 in Bible studies, and 212 baptized.
