Shakespeare Youth Festival LA - March 11 to March 26, 2023. We presented two productions - Henry VI: The War of the Roses (2 parts - 4 performances each), and Macbeth (two performances). 35 children, ages 7 through 18 participated. Each play is the culmination of 14 to 18 weekly rehearsal sessions. In the Fall of 2023, we began in-person rehearsals for SYF 2024. 45 children made up the casts of three plays. Approx 65% of our students received financial aid allowing them to participate at no or very low cost.

Summer with Shakespeare Youth Festival
Summer with SYF - July 10 to July 28, 2022. We conducted three weeks of a summer day camp. 40 children, ages 7 to 12, participated as campers, presenting two recitals, and 12 teens, age 13 to 18, served as mentors and coaches for the younger students, then presented two performances of a full production of Midsummer Night's Dream.
