  • Widows & Orphans Support Program

    Transfer to Kenya Widows & Orphans program: support for over 60 widowed grandmothers, many caring for orphaned grandchildren. Monthly the women receive basic food staples (beans, carrots, potatoes, flour, maize, rice) that help these extended families survive. Agricultural education around sustainable farming along with drought tolerant seeds, and fertilizer will also program elements this year. Clean water education with filtration kits continued this year.

  • Thread of Hope Sewing School

    Transfer to Kenya Support for Thread of Hope, a sewing school providing women an opportunity to learn pattern making and sewing skills. Over forty women have been provided skills to become a breadwinner for their families. Micro loans for sewing machines and business start up are also provided.
