  • Clinical Research and Patient Care Fund

    The fund for research provide clinical and consulting services to the general Israeli governmental hospital rambam in Haifa, Israel. these services are provided by the staff of the fund. in addition The fund for research receives donations from a variety of entities in Israel and the US. The donations serve different wards in the hospital such as: Oncology, Intensive Care, Aids Testing, Children's Wing, etc.Some donations are restricted to specific requests made by the donor. Some are earmarked to be used by the discretion of the head of a ward or the fund management. These donations are used for such things as acquisition of medical equipment, leasehold improvements, salaries and other expenses. In addition, donations are also used for research and development in the different medical fields, and for the betterment of basic patient care. Research grants have been awarded by a variety of organizations and entities in Israel and the US. The grants received are used in medical research in a variety of fields such as nephrology, hematology, cardiology, pathology, neurology, immunology and the liver department among others.It is among other missions of the fund to initiate, advance and support clinical and practical laboratory research in all medical fields, as well as develop and provide medical services for the benefit of the patient and the general public in Israel.
