Annual Wildlife Conference
The annual conference was conducted in-person in 2022 with workshops and presentations. Conference topics included the following: Black bears in Ohio, Traumatic Brain Injury and Shock, Raptor Spinal and Ocular Trauma, Animal Enclosure Habitat Design and more. Workshop training programs take place several times throughout the year to address the need for certification of prospective rehabilitators. Introduction to Wildlife Rehabilitation (IWR) training was conducted for rehabilitators to receive Category I permit training and Rabies Vector Species (RVS) was conducted to satisfy the Category II training requirements.
