Ocean Resilience Program
The Ocean Resilience Program conducts research, monitoring and restoration activities in coastal marine habitats. Projects focused on kelp forest restoration, eelgrass habitat research and restoration, abalone species recovery, and oceanographic biophysical monitoring related to climate change. The restoration and enhancement of marine habitats increased ecosystem structure and function while supporting local recreational opportunities and related coastal economies. Data collected from these projects further our understanding of the impacts from climate change and informs adaptive management of these projects.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2022 – Jun 30, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$862.7KSanta Monica Bay National Estuary Program
