  • Uptown Community Improvement Initiatives

    Uptown Community Parking DistrictUCPD provided the following accomplishments in FY21-22 UCPD actively collaborated requests input for neighborhood projects ideas to improve the individual communities of Uptown. UCPD was in ongoing contact with Uptown Planners, Hillcrest Business Association, Hillcrest Town Council, Middletown Residents Group, Bankers Hill Community Group, Bankers HIll Business Group, Mission Hills BID, Mission Hills Town Council Metro CDC. Parking UCPD worked with city staff to identify complete safe parking conversions adding an additional 62 spaces throughout Uptown. Pedestrian Upgrades UCPD purchase the installation of two solar flashing crosswalk installations. Bike Lane Outreach The UCPD was in constant contact with property business owners for the 4th 5th Avenue bike lanes. Extraordinary Maintenance Bankers Hill Drafted circulated an RFP for the BH transportation project improvements. IRR Valet service returned in FY21-22.
