    The organization has and continues to do the following:1. Promote practical shooting competitions2. Educate the public of benefits of practical shooting3. Set forth rules and regulations for practical shooting4. Present an annual program of practical shooting matches5. Conduct education clinics sharing knowledge of gun safety, handling techniques, ethics6. Publish a newsletter, website7. Provide a safe firing range facility for use by all members including local police departments and state and federal law enforcement agencies8. Conduct weekly competition shooting events
