Continued construction of Kijana Global Innovation School in Sabatia-Butere, Kakamega County, Kenya which opened with 15 students and 5 teachers in January 13, 2020. The school will ultimately with serve 250 students. Construction included 10 classrooms, administration building, kitchen, parking, school entrance and landscaping. Also installed Solar Panels for electricity backup. Teachers were paid for training during time school was closed due to COVID. Purchased STEM resources and school transportation Van. Distributed Backpacks to all students. Held numerous Soap Food distribtuions in Nairobi and Western Kenya in various school communities to promote health and wellness during COVID. Continued development and growth of Kijana Global Innovation School. Most notably continued construction and development of Junior Secondary School Building. Began construction of the Library and Media Center. Acquired additional musical instruments. Hired additional teachers. Hosted visitors from the US. Hired additional teachers.
