Bach Magnificat and Vivaldi Gloria Concert
We performed a concert titled "Bach Magnificat and Vivaldi Gloria," in which we performed JS Bach's Magnificat in D Major and Vivaldi's Gloria in D Major, two of the great Baroque Choral Works. The performance included both a choir and orchestra, and was presented to both an in-person audience and live-streamed online. Our group performed a diverse series choral pieces based around the theme of light, including Morten Lauridsen's "Lux Aeterna," Dolly Parton's "Light of a Clear Blue Morning," Thomas Tallis' O nata lux de lumine, and Julia Klatt Singer's "soft blink of amber light".
