Mission Statement
SIGMA DELTA TAU FOUNDATION, INC WAS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE EDUCATIONAL, LEADERSHIP AND PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES OF SIGMA DELTA TAU MEMBERS BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS, EDUCATIONAL GRANTS, HARDSHIP SUPPORT, AND FINANCIAL GRANTS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES PROGRAM GRANTS TO SIGMA DELTA TAU SOCIETY, A 501(C)7 ORGANIZATION WHOSE ACTIVITIES ARE CONSISTENT WITH ENCOURAGING EACH MEMBER TO REACH THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL BY ENRICHING THE EXPERIENCE OF WOMEN WITH SIMILAR IDEALS, BUILDING LASTING RELATIONSHIPS, PROMOTING CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY, AND FOSTERING PERSONAL GROWTH.
