Disaster Response and Recovery. HCRN provides immediate assistance, community mentoring and long term recovery rebuilding help for communities devastated by disaster. HCRN is a licensed General Contractor in the State of California. HCRN coordinates volunteers who rebuild homes for vulnerable families. In 2024, HCRN completed two rebuilding projects. In Happy Camp, we completed our work rebuilding ten homes that were destroyed in the Slater FIre. We also completed our rebuilding project in Paradise after serving there for six years after the Camp Fire. HCRN rebuilt 40 homes and worked on more than 800 projects in Paradise. HCRN rebuilds for households who were underinsured or uninsured at the time of the fire without charging for our services. Our donors, partners and volunteers make this possible. Immediate Assistance: HCRN deployed our Disaster Resource Village to coordinate response for the Boyles Fire in Lake County and the Park Fire in both Butte and Tehama Counties. HCRN brought together partners from California VOAD (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster) to offer services and supplies to fire survivors. During those Local Assistance Centers, HCRN served more than 300 households. Our secure database was also used by partner agencies to provide Disaster Case Management to the households impacted by the Park Fire. Long Term Recovery Training: Staff implemented training and ongoing support for eight long term recovery projects across the state.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$2.2M
