  • Hospital Gift Shop Operations

    The Organization operates a gift shop in the hospital that it supports. This activity is operated for the convenience of patients using the hospital facility and their families, as well as hospital employees, and is operated by substantially all volunteers. Proceeds from this activity are used to advance the interests of the hospital. In 2013, the Organization benefitted from donated facilities for the gift shop venue, valued at 9,000, which is not included in program revenue and expense.

  • Community Resale Shop

    The Organization operates a resale shop in the community that is open to the public. The organization receives donations of clothing and household items from the community which it resells. This activity raises funds to support the mission of the Organization, and promotes goodwill for the hospital in the community it serves. This activity is operated by substantially all volunteers. Revenue and expenses include the fair value of donated clothing and household items.
