Program 1 [2021]
The Chicago Demons Basketball Program provides organized teams for boys and girls in Grades 1-12. The youth have weekly mentoring sessions, workouts, practices, camps, and clinics. Team development, skill training, and sportsmanship are stressed. Anti-violence, character building, tutoring, and academic success activities are also provided. The PEP Academy Program provides STEM, literacy, and mentoring for particiapants in Grades 1-12. Programming is after-school during the traditional school year. We have an extended day eight-week summer program to close the learning gap during that time. Our high school participants are directed on a path toward college or careers. College financial scholarships are provided. Assistance with college entrance testing, entrance applications, and financial aid forms is included. The Maryann Donlon Senior Citizen Program provides social, recreational, and tech activities for low- and fixed- income seniors and adults in the community. The program includes field trips and cultural events. We provide seminars, for health, safety, utilitiy management, and other life skills.
