To provide services listed in Section 501(e) of the code, primarily diagnostic imaging services, to certain section 501(c) (3) hospital organizations engaging in healthcare activities. In 2024 the organization provided in excess of 450,000 scans between ultrasound, mammography, CT, nuclear medicine, bone densitometry, and MRI services across its 85 member hospitals. In 2024 CMDI placed 38 new pieces of diagnostic imaging equipment across its member hospitals.
