Food Program
Food Program. The Food Program is designed to combat the food deficit in the community with low to moderate-income families. Our goal is to make sure no one goes to bed hungry within the community we serve. We provide (1) weekly grocery distribution that includes fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins, and dairy, which are part of the five food groups recommended by USDA, (2) monthly nutrition newsletter that helps clients prepare nutritional meals, give tips on issues that may affect their health and wellness; (3) provide monthly exercise classes that help increase metabolic function, enabling clients to maintain a healthy weight and improve heart and lung disease, one of the biggest causes of fatality in the community we serve. In 2023, we served over 14,776 households.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$56KSenior Care Program
