Civic Learning Student Programs
Chicago and Statewide Civic Learning Student Programs: Local project to promote law-related education with elementary, middle, and high school students in Chicago, Greater Metropolitan Area, and across Illinois, including teacher recruitment, placement of attorney volunteers in classrooms, service learning projects, student conferences, in-class activities, and curriculum dissemination. More than 17,000 elementary, middle, and high school students participated directly. Over 400 teachers participated with support by approximately 40 volunteers in law, history, public policy, and government.
