Nexus-Kindred Family Healing, an affiliate of Nexus Family Healing (another Minnesota-based nonprofit organization) is one of the largest private foster care providers in Minnesota. In 2020 Nexus-Kindred Family Healing reached 386 children through short-term, emergency, shelter, and foster care. Services are provided from community offices and foster homes across the state that reach more than 70% of Minnesota counties. In addition to foster care, Nexus-Kindred Family Healing provides a wide array of resources designed to assure the safety, well-being, and permanency of nearly 582 Minnesota children and youth annually. Nexus-Kindred Family Healing, an affiliate of Nexus Family Healing (another MN-based nonprofit organization) is one of the largest private foster care providers in MN. In 2022, Nexus-Kindred Family Healing provided emergency foster care, foster care, short-term, and short-term foster care to 355 unique youth, with a total of 449 foster care enrollments. Nexus-Kindred served 47 unique youth through adoption services, 31 youth in STAY, and 64 youth & their families through visitation services. A total of 591 enrollments occurred for 444 youth in 2022 that supported safety, healing, and permanency for children and youth.
