Dobbs Ferry Park Development
We have worked with the Village of Dobbs Ferry, Groundwork Hudson Valley and Saw Mill River Coalition to develop and create a new Village park in Dobbs Ferry, New York. We continued to work with the Dobbs Ferry Village Attorney on the acquisition of a 8.4-acre State-owned parcel for this park. We also worked on Trees for Tribs planting events, the Great Saw Mill River Cleanup event and we led several walking tours of the new park. We worked with the Planning Board of the Village of Irvington with respect to site development plan approval for a property adjacent to Halsey Pond in Irvington. We have continued to run the Rivertowns Pollinator Pathway project. This Project is focused on promoting the use of native plants, removing destructive invasive plants and limiting the use of Pesticides.
