Houston BARC Foundation provided medical and kennel supplies and equipment to enhance the living conditions of the animals at the Houston Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care (BARC) municipal shelter. The Foundation also worked to raise community awareness of responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter practices, pet adoption, and the humane treatment of animals.
