Mesa Foundation Community Engagement
It is the mission of Mesa Foundation to create community benefit and beautification, and opportunities for young athletes, disadvantaged youth, the disabled and those suffering from health changes to meet, learn from and be inspired by college athletes.2022 Accomplishments--Mesa Concept to legal filing for nonprofit status-Opened banking account-Meetings with players-Meetings with coaches and SDSU athletic department-Meetings with board members to organize and draft multiple email summaries and on going updates-Calls and meetings with potential supporters and donors-Connected with ALS walk and organized timing for players attendance and social media posts-Ongoing discussions with board members dedicated to social media monitoring and organization, internal management calls and discussions-Wrote and recorded coach videos (Dutcher, Velasquez, Fisher) for website, met with players to discuss their videos for website and organize recording of videos-Organized and attended Heavens Window and SD Food Bank event-Calls and meetings with charity partners including Pendelton, Native Tribes, Challenged Athletes Foundation, Boys and Girls Club Event marketing and finalizing of details for clinics and charity involvement.-Calls with potential web management providers, help create and implement MESA Tiers subscriptions-Interviews with Media sources-Draft contracts and meet with Women's Team and Coach to sign up all, attend SDSU basketball luncheon-Advised on creating and marketing BIG heart trivia App to SDSU basketball fansGeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$117.4K
