It was an exceptional year for HAPI as we achieved significant milestones under the grant. We conducted art classes at 22 different sites, both virtually and in person, totaling 275 classes and 598 participants. Additionally, we supported 115 independent artists on our artist support list, all of whom are underserved Tennesseans recovering from mental health and substance use disorders. HAPI also facilitated 212 classes at four separate sites, engaging a total of 680 artists. We collaborated on three beautiful murals with the help of art participants in the Middle Tennessee region. Since COVID-19, our numbers have decreased in some centers, so we are strategically considering either combining sites with low attendance or reaching out to agencies with individuals on the waiting list who could benefit from HAPI services. We are actively seeking new venues to exhibit art and successfully showcased 198 original art pieces created by 144 artists this year. Overall, HAPI operated at 23 sites, taught 275 art classes, and engaged 719 unduplicated artists, incorporating participation from art classes, independent artists, and those featured in our exhibits. We were also fortunate to receive contributions from several out-of-state corporate organizations looking to give back.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2024 – Jun 30, 2025Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$120.7KProgram 2 [2025]
