  • Fish Ladder Community Engagement

    The BRWC received a grant through the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program to promote a stronger community voice for installing fish ladders along the two southernmost dams on the Blackstone River. The grant also provided funds for performing outreach with local Indigenous Tribes to elevate their voices in the fish ladder efforts. Additionally, the grant funded invasive plant species (waterchests) cleanups in the Blackstone River.
