Youth Development Programs
Youth Development: Our YMCA is committed to nurturing the potential of every child and teen. We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That's why we help young people cultivate the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement. Continuing to face results from the Covid19 pandemic, the YMCA of Saginaw continued innovative to ensure programs continue, such as Safety Around Water and Saginaw Swim an every 3rd grader swim program and Mission Nutrition addressing hunger. Camp Timbers, our residential overnight program, was rebounding from the pandemic and saw increased activity for our youth. In 2023, we provided $46,574 in financial assistance to people who otherwise would have faced economic barriers to participation.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$1.4MHealthy Living Initiatives
