STUDENTS RECEIVING RECOMENDATIONS FROM THE DEAN OR CHAIRMAN OF THE ARTS DEPARTMENTS FROM SEVERAL COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES, WILL BE INVITED TO APPLY FOR GRANTS. RECOMENDED STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A TRANSCRIPT, A RESUME AND A PERSONAL ESSAY INCLUDING THEIR PURPOSED USE OF THE GRANTS AND TWO WORKS OF THE STUDENT. IN ADDITION EACH RECIPIENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT, WITHIN ONE YEAR AFTER RECEIVING A GRANT, A LETTER FROM ONE OF THEIR INSTRUCTORS/PROFESSORS IN THE FIELD OF ART SETTING FORTH THE STUDENT'S PROGRESS IN THE FIELD.
