  • Library Programming and Community Support

    Library Grants. This money provided programming, concerts and printing costs for children, young adults and adults in order to promote the library throughout the year. The Friends of CMPL also provided money for a Staff Care Fund, a 35"x 50" ElectroSketch, and a Discovery Mini Activity Table. The library serves a population of over 175,000 people.

  • Community Book Sales and Awareness

    Book Sale Expenses: The Friends of CMPL continued to provide ongoing book sales at our main library, two branches and on-line sales. Expenses for these sales included packaging supplies, mailings, labels and sales tax and some refreshments. With these sales we were still able raise community awareness of our library's many and varied benefits.

  • BookPage Subscription Program

    Subscriptions. This money was paid out to the BookPage publication. The Friends provided 500 free copies to the community every month.
