Spring Showcase Concert and Recital, 5/16/23. See Schedule O. Every May, NHME holds a concert performance showcasing student-musician achievements. Through these concerts, NHME fosters arts appreciation, strengthens cultural ties, and champions the benefits of musical education. Regular operating expenses leading up to the performance are included on line 17 of Part-1. Every May, NHME holds a concert performance showcasing student-musician achievements. NHME provides performances admission free as a service to our community. Retirees in our neighborhood attend seeking low-cost, enrichment opportunities. Young area families attend our concerts as a way to introduce the performing arts to their children. Rehearsal space provided free of charge. See Schedule O. Form 990 EZ, Part-III line 30: in keeping with the vision of our founders, NHME's building, the Donald S. Dobrosky Sr. and Katherine O. Johnson Community Resource Center (the former Tecumseh Grange), is once again being utilized by our community in support of the arts at the professional level. NHME provided rehearsal space free of charge to the Tecumseh Big Band and VocalAires on several instances throughout the year to help the group prepare for upcoming performances. In one instance, this community partner's "WTCA" three-day concert series played to packed houses at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts. The TCA seats 572. NHME is happy to have helped.
