  • Building Unity Program

    Building Unity is a program service that addresses immediate threats to our security and well-being such as systemic racism, the climate crisis, income inequality, mass incarceration, environmental degradation, and a political system dominated by big money and special interests. The program is committed to work with all organizations that share our desire to care for the earth, meet basic needs, defend human rights, strengthen our democracy, and oppose all forms of violence. Organizations already committed include coalitions, congregations, networks as well as multi-issue and single-issue groups and organizations. The NFP leased a recreational vehicle in 2020 to facilitate travel around the State of Wisconsin visiting communities in efforts to encourage, educate and support voter rights advocacy issues as well as assist in voter registration. The vehicle was rented at below fair market value for 30 days. The difference between the fair market value and rental fee was deemed to be a donation in-kind of $9,888.
