  • STEM Day at the Fair

    SciMathMN delivered the 14th annual STEM Day at the Fair. The event attracted 17,000 attendees to Dan Patch Park. e welcomed 42 exhibitors including 24 nonprofits, 7 higher education, 3 government and 8 sponsor exhibitors focused on STEM experiential learning and workforce readiness skills advancement.. In total, 240 individuals staffed the booths, with many representing Employee Resource Groups and/or individuals from under represented and out state populations in STEM

  • STEM Day at the Capitol

    The SciMathMN ED met with federal officials on STEM issues. Also in partnership with the Minnesota STEM Ecosystem, delivered STEM Day at the Capitol The work was sponsored by STEMx (Battelle). 45 non profit, higher education and in school (research/competition) organizations registered to participate.180 students, educators, nonprofit leaders, higher ed reps, and volunteers were on hand to engage with exhibits and attending policymakers and staffers.

  • Support for K-12 STEM Education

    SciMathMN continues to support the content standards, professional development, and equitable access to resources for Minnesotas K-12 STEM teachers and their member organizations. Several SciMathMN Board members participated on the Minnesota Computer Science (CS) Working Group charged with developing a strategic plan for computer science education.SciMathMN delivered a virtual webinar - Future Trends in STEM Education and Policy Update to a Statewide audience of 75 educators, administrators, business leaders and others focused on STEM careers.
