Community Water Stewardship Engagement
Conservation Engagement: In 2023 focused on engaging the community in active water stewardship. Hosted Water-Wise Landscaping Workshops for 50+ residents, installed demonstration gardens, and solid Water-Wise Plant Packs, converting two acres toWater-Eise Landscapes. Watershed Restoration: Completed two new restoration projects and maintained and monitored ongoing efforts. Achievements include planting 1,900 willows restoring 600 feet of streambank, restoring a native fish passage, and rehabilitating 2 miles of streamside roads.
