Licensed supportive services are provided through on-site partnerships, including alcohol, drug, and mental health treatment. Program structures include participant accountability needed for transitioning from a lifestyle of crime and addiction. Participants engage in individual counseling, mentoring, supportive groups, and personal development of independent life skill programs. During the year, FreedomWorks provided 454 participants with transitional services through our residential programs. Our programs are supported by 115 outside volunteers providing 5520 volunteer hours. Our life skill and work readiness programs are directly through our food initiative programs: The Bread of Life food shelf offers service opportunities while teaching basic customer service, inventory control, and budgeting, while learning how to serve others. Participants volunteered over 15,000 service hours to distribute food to 7200 neighboring households in N. Minneapolis. JailBreakers Catering teaches participants independent life skills, hospitality, and food service training while providing pathways for qualified participants to earn income through our on-the-job training program, while simultaneously completing their residential programs.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesApr 1, 2024 – Mar 31, 2025Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$2.9M
