  • Good Samaritan Transitional Living Program

    This past year, Good Samaritan's Treatment Program provided over 300 hours of therapy to help youth in foster care heal from trauma. The Treatment Program at Good Samaritan is the region's leader in helping youth with problematic sexual behaviors overcome the trauma they have experienced and build healthy relationships. Good Samaritan has the largest Transitional Living Program in the state of Missouri serving 1/3 of all transitional living youth. In 2024, the Transitional Living Program was awarded the Fire Award by the Aging Out Institute for having a top program in the nation. Good Samaritans Transitional Living Apartment Program served the highest amount of youth aging out of foster care to date this past year, totaling 40 youth in foster care who learned crucial skills to be successful in adulthood and end generational cycles of abuse and neglect.
