SACRAMENTO, MERCED, FRESNO, COACHELLA VALLEY: CNC EF implemented broad leadership development and volunteer recruitment campaigns via one-on-one personal visits, house meetings and monthly door-to-door neighborhood canvassing in Sacramento, Merced, Fresno and Coachella Valley. SACRAMENTO, MERCED, FRESNO, COACHELLA VALLEY: CNC EF utilized its community outreach expertise and resources to engage with residents living in hard to count census tracts. CNC created its Cuenta Conmigo 2020 Census program to ensure rural families know how to complete the short census questionnaire, understand their privacy will be upheld by the law, and that they can count on CNC EF and partners for accurate and timely information when they need it. COUNTIES OF: RIVERSIDE, FRESNO, KINGS, MADERA, MERCED, STANISLAUS, SAN JOAQUIN, SACRAMENTO, PLACER, CALAVERAS, MONO, ALPINE, MARIPOSA, TOULUMNE, AMADOR: CNC EF conducted Census 2020 early outreach education beginning in July 2019. Via phonebanking efforts, CNC EF utilized its expertise and resources to engage with the hardest to count Californians in rural communities in the 2020 Census.
