  • Annual Architecture Conference

    The Association of Architecture Organizations' signature event is its annual Conference, offering participants 2.5 days of lectures, presentations, and skill-building opportunities relevant to spurring public dialogue on architecture and design. A planned virtual conference was postponed to 2023 in order to reconfigure to an in-person gathering, per the wishes of the AAO members.

  • Member Services and Network Meetings

    The Association of Architecture Organizations provides a complement of Member Services year-round. Major activities include the management of AAO Network Groups, distinct knowledge communities comprised of AAO members who convene to share management insights in specific program areas (e.g., architectural tours, exhibitions, K-12 outreach). There were 17 AAO Network meetings in 2022, attracting 188 participants, plus 1 in-person AAO members event held in New York City in November 2022 that was attended by 54 individuals. In addition, AAO produces a monthly e-newsletter, gathering relevant news and program announcements from across the AAO membership base. There were 11 issues produced in 2022, distributed to 2,050 subscribers worldwide.
