  • International Artist Collaborations

    The website acitivity has continued with a strong participation by young artists internationally: see https://emergentartspace.org. We published 12 projects by artists from India, Russian Federation, Zambia, South Africa and Argentina; 1 group initiative by artists from Tanzania; 4 artist profiles of artists from Spain, Tanzania, Zambia and Ghana; 5 artists series by artists from Tanzania, Nigeria and India; 4 local exhibitions by artists from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Kenya and India; 2 online solo exhibition by artists from India and 1 online international group exhibition by artists from Tanzania, Nigeria and India; a report on the activities of the international online workshop 'Bookmark'. Due to the persistence of the pandemic, it has been impossible to organize a live exhibition in 2021, but our collaborations have continued:

  • Bookmark Collective Art Initiatives

    The international Bookmark Collective (20 artists from various countries) has continued its activities, in particular working on the second issue of their magazine on the theme of Art and Spirituality and organizing a live exhibition which will take place in July-August 2022 in Rotterdam (Netherlands), around the same theme.

  • Documenting Indigenous Cultures Project

    We have collaborated with the non profit organization AC4D ("Arts and Culture for Development" ) in Tanzania, on the project 'Documenting the Undocumented', led by Elizabeth Mwambulukutu and Bonita Ngonyani. They led four young Tanzanian artists to field ''work with the indigenous tribes Hadzabe and Datoga, documenting their life style and culture: https://emergentartspace.org/forum/85200/.
