Classical Music Concerts for Uplifting Communities
Classical musical concerts, featuring the highest caliber performance of great works held at great venues, such as Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center, with the aim of uplifting and ennobling the human spirit. These concerts are open to the public, and tickets are often made free to public school students, teachers and families. April 12, 2015 Handel's Messiah Concert performed near Lincoln Center, featured an orchestra and full chorus. Concert benefited 500 NYC families.June 21, 2015, "Music against Violence" concert at Carnegie Hall, Stern Auditorium, also featured renowned speakers who addressed topics such as non-violence and a commitment to classical education. The Mostly Mozart Music-Science Summer Program -- a summer enrichment program for New York City students, ages 12-18 and grades 6 through 12, that combines musical study and performance with collaborative hands-on investigations of groundbreaking scientific works and discoveries. Program is 5-weeks long, Monday through Friday, from 9am-2pm. Lunch is served as part of the program.
