    All demographic subgroups at BelovED have a far higher percentage of economically disadvantaged students than the corresponding subgroup Statewide. Given the 30-point academic proficiency gap in New Jersey between economically disadvantaged and non-economically disadvantaged students, statistics would predict proficiency rates at BelovED being lower than across the State. But in fact, the opposite is true. BelovED students of all backgrounds are learning faster and have higher ELA and Math proficiency rates than their demographic subgroup peers statewide. BelovED had an average enrollment of 1560 students during the 2024-2025 school year.
