  • MRKH Support and Advocacy

    MRKH, (Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser Syndrome), is a congenital condition characterized by absence of the uterus, cervix and vagina, and can include kidney, urogenital, skeletal, brain, and heart malformations. The organization provided direct support to individuals with MRKH through in-person meetings, conferences and meet ups through our Ambassadors Program, as well as online group meetings and support groups, providing services to an estimated 3500 people.

  • Beautiful You MRKH Advocacy and Education

    Beautiful You MRKH worked toward creating an inclusive and more diverse experience in MRKH Health Care through advocacy and education because representation matters. Projects toward this goal include: Beautiful You supported people to attend medical conferences in order to help improve care for those with MRKH by advocating for support for those with MRKH in public and health care settings by storytelling and sharing experiences with the medical professionals. The Organization partners with physicians to improve care for patients and their families, and support development of new research programs to understand the breadth of symptoms associated with MRKH. Events attended include MRKH Days (Ann Arbor, Cincinnati, and Boston), participating in a mental health panel at NASPAG.
