Animals for Armed Forces Foundation sponsored 1 special pet adoption event in 2020 for current and former military members and their immediate families.VETERANS DAY WEEKEND (NOVEMBER 2020) - Our event occurred over Veterans Day Weekend in 2020, and 7 animal shelter organizations participated with us for this event. As a result of our Veterans Day Weekend event, we had 1,942 animals adopted in total through our 7 participating shelter organizations with 177 of those being adopted by military families. This resulted in our Foundation donating $51,068 to cover these adoption fees for the military families.The breakdown of these totals by shelter are as follows:1. As a result of our Memorial Day Weekend event, we had 310 animals adopted in total through our 5 participating shelter organizations with 100 of those being adopted by military families. This resulted in our Foundation donating $23,405 to cover these adoption fees for the military families.The breakdown of these totals by shelter are as follows:1. During 2024, Animals for Armed Forces Foundation paid for 2 special pet adoption events that occurred in May & November 2024 for current and former military members and their immediate families.MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND EVENT (May 2024) - Our event occurred over Memorial Day Weekend in 2024, and 1 animal shelter organization participated with us for this event. As a result of this adoption event, we had 35 animals adopted by military families. This resulted in our Foundation donating $6,914 to cover these adoption fees for the military families.The breakdown of these totals by shelter are as follows:1.
